Event Management


Events are always exciting.This Event Management programme will provide you with the specific knowledge and skills in managing various types of events such as religious, cultural, musical, sporting, corporate, leisure, political, personal and special. This programme is more hands-on than theoretical, and you will be more exposed to practical work and training in the real business of Event Management industry,mainly represented by event companies and institutions/associations.

This programme will provide you with specialised theoretical knowledge and practical skills to manage multi-scaled events at local, as well as international levels. The events can be religious, cultural, musical, sporting, corporate, leisure, political, or personal, preparing a new and exciting career each time you go to work.

Internship Program :

You will undergo a semester of comprehensive training in the internship program. It has been specially designed to give you an intensive hands-on learning experience within a challenging work environment.

We Offer :

  • Diploma in Event Management - 2 years and a semester of internship.
  • Bachelor of Events Management (Hons)- 3 years including a semester of internship.


During the course of the programme, you will be involved in practical-work and training such as organising and staging events, visiting convention centres, watching or even participating in certain high-level events. You will obtain guidance not only from your lecturers but also from invited industry players of established event companies.

Also during the course of this programme, you are expected to do a lot of reading, writing (mainly reports, speaking, presentations and addressing questions and answers in class discussions), attending lectures and tutorials, practical classes, participating in events organisation, field trips/visits to event companies, convention centres and watching or participating in real events. The rigour of learning and application is to be expected in this degree programme.
